KC Play is adding some great non traditional trainings to the schedule. Check out trainings in June for Drumming (recommended by Bruce Perry) and Bal-A-Vix-X for opportunities to gain new skills. Also KC Play is teaming up with Care Clinics (Topeka) with Mindi Higgins, LCMFT is offering a Parenting That Heals: Therapeutic Parenting workshop. Mindi is trained in Dan Hughes DDP model, a certified Attach clinician and trained in EMDR and Theraplay. This is a great workshop for parents and professionals. KC Play has also added a Sandtrays in Play Therapy workshop in Omaha March 25-26 and you can also get this same training in Georgia this summer.
