Workshop: Theories of Play Therapy
Description:This course is designed to provide the student with a practical introduction to theories that have contributed to the development of play therapy. This class will focus in depth on several theories that have influenced and interact with play therapy including client-centered, Adlerian, Jungian, Filial, Developmental and others. Emphasis will be focused on attendees developing their counseling theory synthesized with play therapy practice. Play Therapy techniques, video sessions will be utilized.
